Cookbook: Preschoolers Recipes

Snack Mix

What you'll need:

  • 1 cup dry cereal

  • 1 cup animal crackers

  • 1 cup pretzels

How to make it:

  • Place all ingredients in a plastic container and shake.

  • Seal and store in a dry place.

Makes 3 cups.

Cooked Carrots

What you'll need:

  • 10 carrots

  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 3 tablespoons margarine

  • 1/4 cup milk

How to make it:

  • Peel and slice carrots.

  • Cook carrots in boiling water until tender.

  • Drain carrots.

  • Cut carrots into small pieces (not rounds).

  • Add sugar and margarine.

  • Stir in milk and season to taste.

  • Reheat for 1 minute.

Makes 4 servings.
