Strawberry Smoothie

What you'll need:
- 1 8-ounce carton of vanilla yogurt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 cups strawberries, mashed

- Put yogurt, milk and strawberries in a container.
- Cover and shake until smooth.
- For variations, add mashed bananas or peaches or 1/3 cup frozen orange
juice concentrate, thawed.
Makes about 3 cups.

Fruit Salad
What you'll need:
- 1 head lettuce
- 1 can pineapple chunks; drain but save the juice
- 2 small nectarines, peeled
- 1 can peaches; drain but save the juice
- 1/4 cup carrots, shaved or grated
- 1/2 cup celery, diced
- 1 apple, diced
- 1/2 cup orange juice
How to make it:
- Chop all fruits and vegetables. Toss them in a large bowl.
- Mix 1/4 cup pineapple juice, 1/4 cup peach juice, and 1/2 cup orange
juice in a separate bowl.
- Pour juice mixture over the fruits and vegetables.
- Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
