Basic Fruit

What you'll need:
Fruit
How to make it:
- Wash and peel fruit.
- Cut fruit into small pieces. Remove all seeds.
- Add 1/4 cup of boiling water to 1 cup of chopped fruit and simmer until tender,
about 15-20 minutes.
- Mash the fruit and force it through a food grinder with a small amount of the cooking
water to blend until smooth.
- Or, you can avoid cooking the fruit and put the chopped fruit in a blender. Blend
until smooth, using water or juice if needed.

Basic Vegetables
What you'll need:
Vegetables
- Squash
- Green beans
- Carrots
How to make it:
- Wash and peel vegetables.
- Slice vegetables for fast cooking.
- Add 1 to 1 1/2 inches of boiling water to vegetables.
- Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes or until soft.
- Mash, blend or grind with some of the cooking water (or juice) until smooth.
