TV Rating System

TV-YFamily
The program is meant for younger children, ages 2-6. The program is not expected to scare children and can be viewed by all audiences.

TV-Y7
The program is meant for children over 7 years old. The show may have make believe or humorous violence. The show is for children who know the difference between real and make believe.

TV-G
The show is not meant for children, but most can still watch. The program contains little or no violence, no strong language and little or no sexual dialogue or situations.

TV-PG
Parents should watch this show with their children if they are going to allow their child to watch at all.

TV-14
The show is meant for children over the age of 14. Parents should not let children under 14 watch this show alone. Some children 14 or older may not be mature enough for this show, it is your call as a parent.

TV-MAFamily
The show is for adults only and should not be seen by children under the age of 17. If it were a movie children under 17 would not be allowed in.
