What Is Lactose Intolerance?

Lactose Intolerance is when the body cannot handle large amounts of lactose, found
in dairy products.
Lactose is the sugar found naturally in milk and milk products.
People who have lactose intolerance have little of the enzyme lactase. Lactase allows the body to take in lactose as sugar.
Many people live with lactose intolerance and it is most common among the Asian population in America.
