Handling A Fussy Eater

Serve food plain and respect the "no foods touching" rule.
Avoid being a short-order cook.
Offer the same food to the whole family, but offer at least one food everyone will
eat.
Substitute a familiar food.
If a child has expressed a dislike for a certain type of food, substitute another,
like carrots for peas or squash for green beans.
Provide just two or three choices.
Focus on your child's positive eating behavior.
