some people naturally have firmer stools than others.
Just about everyone gets constipated once in a while. Poor diet and exercise can
cause constipation. Constipation is most common in women and adults over 65 years
old. Pregnant women often get constipated. Constipation is also normal after childbirth
and surgery.
