Community Seat Check Events

Community seat check events are one day events that are open to the public. Trained personnel at the events will check the installation of the seat, identify any recalls, and correct any installation problems found.

Parents and caregivers should attempt to install the child safety seat before arriving at the event and bring their vehicle and safety seat manuals with them to the check location.  Parents and caregivers should expect proper seat installation to take 20 minutes per safety seat.
