ESCAPE: Enhancing State Capacity to
Address Child and Adolescent Health through Violence
Prevention
This CDC funded program is designed to promote child
and adolescent health by addressing violence toward
or among children and adolescents, including youth suicide,
child maltreatment, dating violence, sexual violence,
school violence, community violence, and bullying. ESCAPes
planning and implementation phases will focus on shared
risk and protective factors for these forms of violence.
