FREE Fire Safety Resource for Preschools
The Division of Injury and Violence
Prevention has a limited supply of FREE play
safe! be safe! fire safety educational programs for
preschool providers in Virginia. The play
safe! be safe! children’s fire safety education
program was created by the BIC Corporation for preschool educators.
It is geared for educators who want to teach young children
the basics of fire prevention and to show children how to
respond to specific fire situations. The play
safe! be safe! multimedia kit includes a video and
a range of education products and activities designed to work
with the video to reinforce fire safety behaviors and make
learning fun. The educational materials are designed for children
ages 3 to 5. It is an effective and easy-to-implement fire
safety program that can help bring the fire safety message
into preschool classrooms.
Supply is limited – only
400 kits are available! Limit one kit per preschool only.
