Safe Schools and Safe Students in Virginia Workshop was a Success!
February 28th - March 2nd, 2007
Wyndham Richmond Airport
Richmond, VA


The Safe Schools and Safe Students in Virginia workshop highlighted injury prevention strategies and resources that school personnel can use to improve the safety of their schools and students. The workshops on February 28th were dedicated to addressing safety issues specifically for elementary level schools. The workshops on March 1-2nd were dedicated to middle and high schools. Educators left this conference with loads of resources and new ideas and approaches to reduce injuries to school age children. The 3-day workshop was sponsored by the Virginia Department of Health, Division of Injury and Violence Prevention.
