Safe Schools and Safe Students in Virginia
Safe Schools and Safe Students is a training for school professionals who influence the safety of students and school staff. This training will walk you through the Safe School and Safe Students in Virginia Resource Guide, addressing eight components of school and student safety. The training will offer recommendations for keeping students safe while they are in school, on school grounds, on their way to or from school, and involved in school-sponsored activities. You will also learn of helpful Virginia and national resources to assist schools in achieving their safety goals. Contact Shannon Wright at 804-864-7743 or shannon.wright@vdh.virginia.gov
