  • Hold a focus group to find out the real needs of the people with disabilities in your community.
  • Ask your local disability organization to check out your website for ease of use by people with disabilities, and provide advice on how to make it more accessible.
  • Are there any improvements that can be made make your services or facility more accessible?
  • Does your staff need training on how to better serve people with disabilities? Do you know what people first language is, and does your staff use it? Contact your local Independent Living Center to see if they can offer advice or training.
