Medical Emergency Response Plan   (MERP) - a worksite emergency response plan that helps employers improve outcomes and reduce costs from heart attack and stroke.

The MERP highlights practical steps and key factors on assessing a worksite’s emergency response needs, acquiring the equipment and resources to implement a plan and taking action to train an on-site emergency response team. The guide was reviewed and endorsed by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association and the State Office of Emergency Medical Services.
