This site was developed to foster an alliance between pediatric and psychiatric trainees to care for the mental health needs of children in the 21st century. This site is designed to teach child health educators how to effectively convey health promotion content to their learners utilizing core teaching strategies. Through the resources presented on this site, child health educators will prepare their learners with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to communicate effectively, partner with and educate children and families as their advocate to promote health and prevent illness.

This site contains more than 30 self-contained educational modules, covering important topics in child growth, development, behavior, and adolescent health. The materials have been written and edited by faculty from Children's Hospital in Boston and Harvard Medical School. They have been reviewed by nationally recognized experts, and pilot-tested and evaluated in pediatric residency programs across the U.S. These materials are freely available to help healthcare educators worldwide.
