What is a WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselor?
A woman who:
- Breastfed her baby and has been on WIC
- Has completed a WIC breastfeeding course
- Shares breastfeeding information
- Gives you support before and after your baby is born
- Helps families get off to a good start
- Can visit you at home
- Is a phone call away
Volunteers are always welcome!

Your local Breastfeeding Coordinator can arrange for you to meet a local peer counselor.
