Thank you for your interest in taking a stand to end violence against women.

This Campaign provides men an opportunity to show their support for ending men's violence against women. Posting a white ribbon as your profile picture is a statement and pledge that you will never commit, condone, or remain silent about men's violence against women.

Other things you can do to help end violence against women:

  • Listen to women/learn from women.
  • Challenge those who use sexist language and jokes that degrade women.
  • Treat women with respect and as equals.
  • Learn to identify and oppose sexual harassment.
  • Get involved in prevention programs.

  • The Virginia Family Violence & Sexual Assault Hotline (1-800-838-8238 v/tty), a toll-free, confidential, 24-hour service that provides crisis intervention, support, information, and referrals to family violence and sexual assault survivors, their friends and families, professionals, and the general public.
  • The National Sexual Assault Online Hotline is operated by RAINN, America's largest anti-sexual assault organization. Victims of sexual assault and their families and friends can anonymously receive live help from trained volunteers at no cost. http://online.rainn.org/
  • The National Teen Dating Abuse Helpline call 1-866-331-9474 or 1-866-331-8453 TTY. Visit www.loveisrespect.org where there is live, one-on-one chat availalbe.
