Sexual Violence Email List

Virginia Sexual Violence Prevention List Server

The main form of communication from the Sexual Violence Prevention Program is through the internet. Through the use of a dedicated email list server, VDH is able to send out 1-2 emails a week about upcoming trainings, new resources, available funding and job opportunities. Currently there are over 1,100 people subscribed to the list. In order to keep the amount of emails down, it is a heavily moderated list, with most of the postings coming from VDH. There are three different ways to join this list to receive important information on the issue of sexual violence in Virginia:

  2. OR
  3. Visit the Yahoo groups website and click on join now.
  4. OR
  5. Call 804-864-7741 and ask to be added to the list server.

This list server is the major communication tool for those working on the Teen Dating Violence Prevention Alliance. It is open to anyone who has an interest in the issue of teen dating and sexual violence prevention in Virginia.

This is a group of Sexual Assault Coordinators at Virginia Colleges that are working toward a unified response to sexual assault victims on their campuses, implementing prevention programming and other collaborative plans.

This list server is for health care providers and professional affiliates to receive notice of new resources and have access to a forum for discussing the challenges andsuccesses of responding to domestic violence victims within a practice or institution with other health care providers.
