This funding opportunity is available to assist in the implementation of the PREVENT Project, a project of the Virginia Teen Dating Violence Prevention Taskforce - Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance. To be eligible for this training opportunity, a SDVA must commit to providing PREVENT Project training and technical support to at least two Community-Based Youth-Serving Agencies during the 2008/2009 school year. Funding Opportunity for Sexual Assault Crisis Centers in Virginia to establish statewide reimbursement contract(s) through competitive negotiations for the purchase of sexual violence primary prevention program(s). Approximately $18,000 is available for a six-month funding process. Approximately $36,000 is available for each of the optional two-year renewal periods.
