Division of Injury and Violence Prevention

The Division of Injury and Violence Prevention works to prevent unintentional, intentional and self-inflicted injuries. Division activities include needs assessment, analysis and reporting of injury data, outreach and education, training and consultation, policy development and implementation, community projects, and safety device dissemination across a wide range of injury areas.
