The Virginia Cancer Registry (VCR) is a partner in statewide activities to promote cancer prevention, early detection, and successful treatment and care. The cancer information collected by the VCR describes the impact of cancer in Virginia and is used to assist cancer control and prevention programs and initiatives.

2000 – 2004 Incidence Data

Cancer incidence data for 2000 – 2004 is now available.  The data provide an overview of cancer incidence in Virginia.  Highlights include increased use of figures and graphs, a comparison of pediatric and adults cancers, and more emphasis on cancer case numbers and rates in Virginia’s cities and counties.
